Who we are

Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society (SEEDS) is a non-profit organization registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It was established in the year 2008 with an intent to extend services in Education, Skills, Livelihoods and Agriculture to communities who would otherwise not have access to such support

Pioneered by few professionals from IL&FS Education and with the conviction to bring about social change, SEEDS has been playing a vital role in bringing about a more equitable and just society wherein all individuals have improved access to opportunities for growth. Delivering sustainable solutions in Education, Skills, Livelihoods and Entrepreneurship, SEEDS intends to demonstrate models that have a greater impact and are scale-able

SEEDS's first programmes were initiated in Duttaluru, a remote village in SPSR Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh, located at about 100 kms away from the District Headquarters. With the land and certain amenities donated by kind individuals, SEEDS has its rural campus spread over 3 acres in Duttalur catering to the local area development through Project LEED encompassing various initiatives in Education, Skill Development, Health, Livelihoods and Rural Entrepreneurship segments
